Most of us don’t know swimming. But we like playing in beaches, lakes and rivers. Few of us even go for boating. Imagine the situation where you went to sailing. Assume the boat condition is bad. But you are not aware of it. Suddenly, water started flowing into the vessel, and it is slowing drowning. You don’t have floating jackets with you. You don’t have time to get help from guards. You have only one option to save yourself, i.e. swim.
Leave the above situation. Assume you never go to beach or boating. But, you may get the threat from water in many other ways. Your surroundings will be filled with water if there is an unexpected massive flood. Imagine a situation when there is a sudden inflow of water to your colony that you never expected. The inflow is such an immense that ground floor of the house is completely drowned in water. In order to save your life, you have to swim. These types of incidents are quite common near the cities located near seashores. Recent Mumbai, Chennai and Vizag floods are examples of this incident.
Swimming is one of the essential arts everyone should know. But most of us neglect it. We don’t know the importance of swimming until we are in a situation where we need to swim to save our life.
There are many other unfortunate incidents like train or automobile falls in water from a bridge when we are travelling. We hear these types of incidents very frequently in the news.
Your money, status, education, and skills everything will become useless if you can’t save yourself.
