Mobile Phones:  The average person touches mobile phones many times when compared to any other thing in the home. A research from the United Kingdom shows that mobile phones are home for thousands of germs. The heat the cell phones generate helps in multiplying the bacteria. This bacteria passes from hands to the face and other regions of the body.

Remote Control: A research study proved that harmful bacteria like MRSA, VRE and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome(SARS) are easily transferable by touching TV remotes.

Computer Keyboard and Mouse:  In a study from a British consumer group in 2009, 33 computer keyboards were randomly sampled and out of these tested four were considered a health hazard. One was even discovered to have more bacteria than your average toilet.

There are 10 million bacteria per square inch of a kitchen sponge and one million per square inch on a dish cloth. Bacteria found on them can cause Guillain-Barre syndrome, which can lead to loss of movement.

Refrigerator handle: Most of us never clean refrigerator handle. The bacteria on it stay and multiplies every minute. Refrigerator handle is the best carrier for thousands of germs. Particularly, if a sick person in the family touches it, a lot of bacteria transfers to it and attacks rest of the family members when they touch the fridge handle.

Door Knobs:  Hands are one of the dirtiest parts of the human body which transfer bacteria through door knobs, and these bacteria are transferred to others through their hands.

Women’s Handbag:  A study revealed that women’s handbags are contaminated with more bacteria than the average toilet. Study results showed that one in five handbag handles is home to thousands of bacteria and cause health risks. The research also revealed that the dirtiest item in the average purse is hand cream bottles which carry more bacteria than the average toilet seat.

The only way to escape from these bacteria is to wash your hands frequently.
