Meanwhile, the health condition totally disturbs our immune system. However, we can save our lives from some of the dreadful diseases by regular medical checkups. It is also recommended to take up these tests once in a year as a part of preventive medical examinations.

1. ECG(electrocardiography):

By using ECG test, doctors can diagnose the working of the heart. The simple test which takes 5 to 10 minutes captures the electric signals that are released by heart. By using ECG report, doctors can identify the following results

  • increase in size of heart,
  • supply of blood,
  • chemical imbalance,
  • abnormal heart rhythms,
  • symptoms for heart attack

Especially, the people who are suffering from diabetes and obesity should undergo ECG test regularly. Also, the people who have a habit of smoking and consuming alcohol should take ECG test as they have the high risk of getting heart diseases.

2. Blood Sugar Test:

This test helps us in identifying the blood sugar levels and risk of diabetes at early stages. Undergoing this test regularly and by taking some precautionary measures, we can prevent diabetes.  Parents who are suffering from diabetes should check their children blood sugar level regularly to protect them from diabetes.

3. Lipid Profile Test:

This test helps us in identifying the cholesterol and triglycerides levels in the body. This test is used to find diseases related to heart and blood vessels. This test is also used to determine good and bad cholesterol. Undergoing this test protects us from heart-related illnesses.

4. Complete blood count:

This test is used to determine the hemoglobin percentage and white blood cells (WBC) count in the blood.

  • Less hemoglobin in the blood leads to anemia.
  • An increase in white blood cells than the normal range in the blood causes some infections to internal organs of the body.

We can identify certain diseases in early stages by undergoing this test. With proper diet and medicines, we can cure the diseases related to low blood count.

5. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Test (TSH):

This test is useful in identifying the Thyroxin levels in the body. Thyroxin plays a significant role for maintaining both physical and mental health.

  • An increase in these hormone levels leads to hyperthyroidism.
  • Decrease in these hormone levels may cause obesity, severe, depression, dry skin and leg pains.
  • Abnormal changes in these hormones may cause more severe problems.

We can take some precautionary methods in advance if we can identify the abnormal changes in thyroxine hormone levels.

6. Abdomen Ultrasonography(ultrasound scanning)

This test helps in the identification of the problems related to various internal body organs like liver, spleen, appendicitis, etc. It also helps in recognising stones in kidneys and gallbladder.

7. Examination of creatinine and urea levels:

This test helps in identifying the creatinine and urea levels in Kidneys that play a significant role in sending waste materials from the body. If kidneys fail to work properly, creatinine and urea will reside in the kidney which causes kidney related problems. We can protect ourselves from different kind of kidney problems by examining creatinine and urea levels regularly.

8. Serum–Calcium Test:

This test helps in recognising the calcium levels of bones and contributes to check the bone health.

10. Chest X-Ray:

Regular chest X-ray helps in identifying the lung cancer, heart-related lung problems, calcium deposits, etc.

11. Pap –Smear Test:

This test helps to recognise cervical cancer in the early stage which will help us to take remedies for curing the problem.
